"I present you the story of how a sub organization of LDA which was formed to clean the water of ravi and ecosystem in 2014 and do riverfront development, got separated from LDA and started making master plan of Lahore which is the job of LDA. This is a story of how hundred thousand of agriculture land which LDA specified for agriculture purpose only got under RUDA and slowly with the support of a few ministers in PTI led government increased the spread and now have reached from the banks of Ravi to Quaid e Azam interchange Gt road which is almost 20 to 30km away from Ravi. Housing Schemes belonging to these political workers (people from PTI, PML and even PPP) which was not approved by LDA for years, got approved when it went under RUDA and RUDA became a separate body. An organization which was meant to restore nature and the clean water ecosystem, did the opposite, grabbed the land from the farmers at cheap rates, made housing scheme and sold it with 100x profit. Soon RUDA will interfere in land projects that comes under the jurisdiction of LDA within Lahore not near Ravi. Without a strict property tax on these schemes and the nation's love of property investment, this corrupt governing body will now aquire all the area surrounding B.R.B Canal and Ravi till Gt.road destroying the agriculture land and depleting the fresh ground water and the remaining food production. Thanks PTI (including Imran Khan), PML, PPP, previously we had private authorities like DHA and Bahria eating up Lahore, now we have a government authority aka RUDA as well."
